Last Appearance: Episode 39 'Bully, Bully, Bully'

 

A jolly, happy-go-lucky chap. It was Toad who discoved White Deer Park, after he was captured by humans from Farthing Wood pond. Returning to Farthing Wood, Toad descovered his beloved pond had been filled in. He persuaded the other animals to follow him to White Deer Park, where they would be safe and protected.

Toad was involved in many mishaps on the journey. Early on he was nearly ran over by a lorry, then he was trapped by a fire and had to be rescued by Fox. Halfway into the journey, Toad's homing instinct began to pull him back towards Farthing Wood. Owl and Kestrel had to help guide the way untill he got over it. Trying to catch fish at Whistler's quarry, Toad was nearly swallowed by a carp.

When the animals arrived at White Deer Park, Toad was the first to be welcomed by the Great Stag, having made the journey twice. Shortly after, Toad went into hibernation. when he woke up the next spring, his homing instinct began to once again drag him back towards Farthing Wood, untill he met a female toad called Paddock, and she became his mate, atleast for the spring!

During the invasion of the rats, Toad befriended a rat called Spike, and it was Toad who persuaded Spike to leave Bully's gang and join forces with the park animals. Toad had a narrow escape when he was attacked by the rats, but survived. Toad is most likely to be found down by the pond in White Deer Park, with his cousins, the edible frogs.
